Burrell Observatory Lecture Series
Aliens Are Cool: But They Need a Place to Live
The is proud to host an open house program as part of the Reinhold and Margaret Kader Memorial Lecture Series.
Dr. Steven Doty, Professor of Physics and Astronomy at Denison University, will present a lecture titled "Aliens are Nice: But They Need a Place to Live."
We know of over 6,000 planets around other stars (exoplanets), which begs the question: how many could support life? To answer that question, we need to know what conditions are necessary to support life.
After the lecture, the observatory will be open for viewing, weather permitting.
Event is free and open to the public; however, tickets are required and donations are always appreciated.
